Terms of service
This is a free, read-only reference page about a video game. These terms are short because the site does very little: it shows pages, it does not take anything from you, and it does not promise to be perfect.
Last revised 20 October 2026
1. What this site is
This site is an independent, unofficial reference for Escape from Playtime, a game developed and published by Mob Entertainment. It is written by fans and players for people who want the rules of the game in plain language. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Mob Entertainment or any of its partners, and it does not speak on their behalf.
All game names, character names, artwork, and trademarks referenced here belong to their respective owners. They are used for identification, commentary, and reference only.
2. Using the site
You may read, link to, quote, and share these pages freely for personal, non-commercial use. You do not need an account, you do not pay anything, and there is nothing to sign up for. There is no user-generated content here: no comments, no uploads, no profiles, and no messaging, so there is no conduct for these terms to police beyond ordinary use.
What we ask is simply that you do not attempt to disrupt the site or other people's access to it, do not present these pages as official material from the developer, and do not resell the site's content as your own product.
3. Accuracy, and what we do not promise
The game is in Early Access, which means mechanics, numbers, and content change between patches. Every fact on this site is traced to a dated source recorded in the research notes behind the About page, but the site is provided as-is and without warranty of any kind. It may contain errors, it may lag behind a patch, and it may be incomplete. It is a reference, not a guarantee, and it is not a substitute for the game's own documentation or store page.
4. External links
Pages here link out to the Steam store page, Steam announcements, and community wikis because that is where the cited facts come from. Those sites are owned and operated by other people, under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
5. Availability and changes
The site is run as a personal reference project. It may be changed, moved, taken offline, or discontinued at any time without notice. These terms may be revised as the site changes; the revision date at the top of this page will change whenever they are, so this page always describes the site as it actually is.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site and the people who write it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from reliance on anything written here. Since the site is free and collects nothing from you, the practical scope of this is narrow: if a page is wrong, the remedy is a correction, which is welcome.
7. Privacy
What the site does and does not do with your visit is described on the Privacy policy page. In short: no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no forms.
Unofficial fan reference. Escape from Playtime and the Smiling Critters are properties of Mob Entertainment. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the developer. Questions or corrections about these terms can be raised through the source notes documented on the About page.
